Research interviews pile up faster than anyone can type them. Thirty hours of fieldwork is thirty hours you will otherwise spend at a keyboard with a foot pedal, at the point in the project when your time is worth the most.

Send them to us instead and get back documents you can code, quote, and search. Speakers are labeled, so a focus group or a paired interview stays legible. Ask for full verbatim when the ums and pauses are themselves data, and we leave them in.

Fieldwork audio is often difficult audio: a cafe, a lecture hall, a phone, several accents, and terminology from your discipline. Every transcript is edited and checked by real people, including a pass where an editor listens to the recording while reading the words. That is the step that keeps a technical term from arriving as something that merely sounds like it.
