Webinar Transcription

A webinar has a short life. It runs once, a fraction of the registrants turn up, and the recording goes into a folder that nobody opens.

A transcript is how it keeps earning. The session becomes a blog post, a follow-up email, an FAQ built from the questions people actually asked, and a page that turns up in search for the topic you spent an hour explaining. Registrants who could not attend get the content in a form they can skim in five minutes. Add the Subtitles and Captions upgrade and the recording itself becomes watchable with the sound off, which is how a lot of people will watch it.

Webinar audio has predictable problems: presenters on different connections, one microphone noticeably worse than the rest, screen-share narration where the visual carried half the meaning, and a Q and A where the questions are barely audible. Every transcript is edited and checked by real people, including a pass where an editor listens to the recording while reading the words, and we research product names and jargon rather than guessing.

Choose the level that suits the session: three services at different prices and turnarounds. If the recording is going up on YouTube, order the captions at the same time.
