Video is the least searchable thing you own. Nothing in an MP4 tells a search engine what was said in it, and nothing lets a viewer skim it the way they would skim a page.
Send us the file, or a link to it, and you get the words back. MP4, M4V, MOV, and most other formats are fine, and we take the audio track from the video so you do not have to extract it yourself. Add the Subtitles and Captions upgrade and you also get SRT, VTT, and DFXP files that drop straight into YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, or an HTML5 player.
Video audio is often worse than the picture suggests: a camera microphone across a room, background noise nobody noticed during filming, several speakers off screen. Every transcript is edited and checked by real people, including a pass where an editor listens to the recording while reading the words. Names and on-screen terminology are researched rather than approximated.
